News: Valve’s Big E3 Surprise Revealed?

Number of announcements on the eve of E3 traditionally grows, but some companies prefer to keep their projects in secret and to report them directly at the exhibition.
In the Network appears reports that the secret to the whole world, which the company intends to reveal at E3 2010, is the development of graphical Source Engine 2. Basically it is high time for that, because the competitions from Epic and Crytech have already upgraded their engines and shovel its licensing money, and Valve began to lag behind.
However, experts specify to the one point: Valve releases new graphics engine, when it comes time to develop following their most important game.

Additionally to this news, to the Internet leaked another information which says, that Gamezone.com supposed screen capture from Valve’s website, revealing that the big surprise in question is none other than Counter-Strike 2. The screen capture appears to have been pulled from the developer’s website (the link is not active currently), and reveals little information outside of the potential game’s release date (June 2011).

Is the screen legit? Could this be Valve’s big planned surprise? We’ll all have to wait until next week to be sure.
